This platform is operated by RFPN LTD (company number 17355103), registered office International House Suite 10 Beaufort Court, Admirals Way, London E14 9XL ("we", "us"). RFPN LTD is the data controller for personal data processed on this site and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Contact: rob@rfpn.net.
What we collect and why
- Planning checker queries — the postcode and project type you enter, processed to return a result and retained in server logs for security and service improvement. A postcode alone does not usually identify you.
- Investor certification data — if you apply for access to full deal financials: your name, contact details and your High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investor declaration. We are legally required to obtain and retain these declarations under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005.
- Sourcer vetting data — if you apply to list deals: identity, company details, redress scheme membership, anti-money-laundering registration and insurance details, processed to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Deal documents — purchase agreements and supporting documents submitted for verification, processed to operate the verification service.
- Technical data — IP address and request logs, kept for security. If analytics is enabled, usage data is collected as described in our cookie notice.
Lawful bases
Contract (providing the service you request), legal obligation (financial promotion and anti-money-laundering rules), and legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the service).
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: our hosting provider (servers in the UK/EU), regulators or law enforcement where legally required, and — where you ask for an introduction to a deal or to finance via RFPN.NET — the counterparty needed to fulfil that request.
Retention
Investor certification records are kept for as long as the law requires. Vetting and deal-verification records are kept for six years after the relationship ends. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Email rob@rfpn.net and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data or a complaint, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
